1. Acceptance of These Terms
Movari is operated by Mooidev Ltd (“Movari,” “we,” “us”), a company based in Mauritius. By creating an account or otherwise using the Movari mobile app, web dashboard, or related services (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
Movari is currently in beta, launching first with clubs in Mauritius, with plans to expand globally. We may add region-specific terms or notices as we grow, and will update this document as that happens.
You must be at least 16 years old to create a Movari account. If you’re under the age of majority where you live, you confirm you have a parent or guardian’s permission to use the Service.
2. What Movari Is
Movari is a community-first fitness app built around real Saturday morning exercise clubs (“Clubs”). Through the Service you can join or create a Club, view and respond to Club meetings and events, check in to track attendance, message and connect with fellow members, and — as features roll out — record activity, capture photos from meetups, and create events.
Movari’s purpose is to help people show up, move, and belong. It is not a competitive performance-tracking platform, and nothing in the Service is medical, fitness, or coaching advice.
3. Accounts & Registration
- You must provide accurate registration information and keep it up to date.
- You’re responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Tell us right away at help@getmovari.com if you suspect unauthorized use.
- One account per person; accounts are not transferable.
- Movari has three roles: Super Admin (Movari’s own platform administrators), Club Admin (members who create and run a specific Club), and Member. Club Admins are independent members of the community, not Movari employees or agents — they’re responsible for the accuracy of their Club’s information and for how they run their Club’s meetings and events, within the conduct rules in Section 4.
4. User Conduct & Community Guidelines
Movari is meant to be a welcoming space. When using the Service, you agree not to:
- Harass, threaten, bully, or discriminate against other members.
- Impersonate any person or organization, or misrepresent your affiliation with a Club.
- Post unlawful, fraudulent, defamatory, or sexually explicit content.
- Share another member’s personal information without their consent.
- Send spam or use the Service to promote an unrelated business.
- Attempt to scrape, reverse-engineer, or interfere with the Service’s normal operation, or circumvent its security.
- Use the Service in a way that could endanger yourself or others at in-person meetups.
We may remove content, suspend accounts, or take other action to enforce these guidelines, at our discretion.
Zero tolerance. There is no tolerance on Movari for objectionable content or abusive users. Content that is sexual, hateful, harassing, violent or otherwise objectionable will be removed, and accounts that post it or abuse other members may be suspended or removed without notice.
Reporting and blocking. You can report any photo, meetup, event or member using the “•••” menu in the app, or by emailing help@getmovari.com. A reported photo is hidden from other members in the app straight away while we review it. We review every report within 24 hours and remove content or suspend accounts that break these Terms. You can also block another member at any time, so you no longer see their photos or profile; they aren’t told, and you can unblock them in Settings.
5. User-Generated Content & Club Administration
You own the content you post — profile photos, messages, event descriptions, and (as features roll out) meetup photos and voice notes. By posting it, you grant Movari a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, and distribute that content within the Service, solely to operate and improve it.
Club Admins take on extra responsibility: creating and describing their Club accurately, moderating their own Club’s membership, and organizing meetings and events for their community. Club Admins act independently of Movari when running their Clubs. We reserve the right to remove content or Clubs, or restrict Club Admin privileges, where they violate these Terms.
6. AI-Generated Content
Movari uses Anthropic’s Claude API to suggest event advertisement text based on the event details a Club Admin provides. AI-generated adverts are a starting point, not a final product — review and edit them before sharing. We don’t guarantee their accuracy, and you’re responsible for anything you ultimately post, AI-assisted or not.
7. Physical Activity & Location Disclaimer
Movari helps organize real-world, in-person exercise meetups. You participate at your own risk. We recommend consulting a physician before starting a new exercise routine, especially if you have an existing health condition. Movari is not responsible for injuries, accidents, or incidents that occur at Club meetings or events — these are organized by Club Admins and members, not run or supervised by Movari staff.
Route-tracking and other location features (where available) rely on your device’s GPS and location permissions, which you can control in your device settings. Location data may not always be accurate, and these features should not be relied on for safety-critical navigation.
8. Third-Party Services
Movari relies on third-party providers to deliver the Service, including Supabase (database, authentication, and file storage), Google Maps Platform (location search and maps), Resend (transactional email), and Anthropic (AI-generated event adverts). Your use of features built on these providers may also be subject to their own terms. We’re not responsible for outages or issues caused by these third-party services.
9. Intellectual Property
The Movari name, logo, “Show up. Move. Belong.” tagline, app design, and underlying software are owned by Mooidev Ltd or its licensors and protected by intellectual property law. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for your own personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, modify, or reverse-engineer the Service except as permitted by law.
10. Termination
You can delete your account at any time from Settings, or by contacting help@getmovari.com. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, remain inactive for an extended period, or if we discontinue the Service — with notice where reasonably practicable.
11. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Movari is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, injuries arising from in-person Club activities, third-party service outages, or inaccuracies in AI-generated content.
Movari is currently free to use. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the greatest extent the law allows.
12. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of Mauritius, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, and disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Mauritius. We encourage reaching out to help@getmovari.com first to resolve any issue informally.
As Movari expands to other countries, users in some jurisdictions may have local consumer-protection rights that these Terms don’t override or limit.
13. Changes to These Terms & Contact
We may update these Terms as Movari adds features and expands to new countries. We’ll notify you of material changes through the app or by email, and update the effective date above. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept them.
